FAITH

 

FAITH is a 12 week study course that helps a Christian learn how to share his or her faith more effectively with others, as well as disciples a person toward understanding the spiritual side of visiting and sharing with people.  The study includes study workbooks, video presentations, mentored training in visitation, and on-the-field experience in how to effectively and caringly share "by permission" the Good News of Jesus Christ with anyone and everyone.

The FAITH program is more than just a program -- it is a strategy of becoming a Great Commission Church as each person becomes a Great Commission Christian. It works through our Sunday School Bible Study Ministry to diciple, train, minister to, and reach out to all kinds of people of all ages. It begins with "Basic FAITH" taught by the Pastor and continues with multiple levels of education through four semesters of courses.

Sponsored by the Southern Baptist Convention, FAITH is an exciting and extraordinary strategy that has become one of the integral parts of the ministries of AFBC as a "Great Commission Church."
