The goal of small groups is to provide a context in which people can share life together in a way that nurtures spiritual growth.

We recognize that Christ has called the leadership of our church to lead, spiritually provide for, and protect his church (1 Peter 5:1–4) so that this body of Christ may function in such a way that we represent Christ within this community (Ephesians 4:11–16). The small group ministry functions as a primary way in which this is accomplished by connecting a majority of our members in meaningful relationships. Small groups will cultivate fellowship among its members through worship, study and application of God’s Word, prayer, and sharing life so that members are cared for in the following areas of life: physical, spiritual, and emotional needs; prayer support; being known by others; and hospitality. In this way, small groups contribute to discipleship in the lives of individual members so that we reflect Christ.
